Dr Rachelle Arkles, Research Fellow, Centre for Health Research, Western Sydney University r.arkles@westernsydney.edu.au Rachelle has a background in social and intercultural research in diverse community and population settings. These include indigenous health and wellbeing, immigrant health and global health. Rachelle has worked on collaborative projects in areas of caregiving, ageing and dementia; health professional recruitment and training for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health services; recruitment, retention and support of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander high school students into careers in health and medicine; and collective healing. Rachelle has a commitment to research as a form of dialogue and engagement and is interested in the meeting points between Western and Indigenous knowledge traditions.
