Aryati Yashadhana

Aryati Yashadhana is a PhD candidate at the University of New South Wales, and a Research Officer with the Brien Holden Vision Institute, Public Health Division. Her PhD study explores factors related to accessibility of eye care and chronic disease services among Aboriginal patients with diabetes in the Northern Territory (Top End) and New South Wales (North Western), and how this is linked to clinical outcomes, social determinants and health equity. She specialises in qualitative research, and has an interest in the societal dynamics of race, ethnicity and culture.
