Martina L Kamaka

Martina Leialoha Kamaka, MD is a Family Physician and an Associate Professor who graduated from the Kamehameha Schools, the University of Notre Dame and the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM). After completing her Family Medicine residency in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, she worked in private practice both in Lancaster and Hawaii. For the past fifteen years, she has been teaching at JABSOM where she focuses on cultural competency training and Native Hawaiian/ indigenous health related issues. She is current President of the ʻAhahui o nā Kauka (Association of Native Hawaiian Physicians) and founding member of the Pacific Region Indigenous Doctors Congress (PRIDOC).
