Summer May Finlay

Summer May Finlay is a Yorta Yorta woman who grew up on Lake Macquarie. Summer has a passion for Aboriginal affairs and is a social justice advocate. She has worked in Aboriginal affairs at both a state and national level, in a range of capacities over 10 years including policy, research and journalism. She has a Bachelor of Social Science and a Masters of Public Health and is currently undertaking a PhD through the University of South Australia. She is actively engaged with the Public Health Association of Australia as the co-convener of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Special Interest Group and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Vice President.
